National Trust

We use the In-Site booking system to manage our bookings for our National Trust campsites in the Lake District. We have found the system suits our needs and is flexible enough to meet our demands.

It is heavily used throughout all of our sites and stands up to this use very well. On initially transferring to the system, In-Site staff were fully supportive and helpful in the technicalities of setting up a new system and the training and support they offered during this time was comprehensive, and easy to understand and follow. We have found the standard of support during our time using the In-Site system to be excellent.

In-Ste staff are always available and ready to do all they can to help whenever a problem arises. It is reassuring to know there is someone on the other end of the phone who can be relied on to help when you need it.

Parkin Estates

The company has owned Woolacombe beach since 1948 and operated a manual beach hut booking system until November 2014. We only have 70 huts and they are only on the beach from the end of May until the first week of September. However, as they have become more popular the administration has become even more time consuming. Earlier this year I began to investigate an on line booking system as the majority of enquiries left of our answering machine were made in an evening and returning these calls during office hours proved difficult.

From the outset I found In-Site to be very knowledgeable and professional. This was confirmed by several local camp sites who had been using In-Site’s system for years. Earlier this week the system went live and from 8am on Monday 10th November until 3.30pm the next day 84 on line bookings had been made and only 5 by telephone. This is double the bookings made over a similar period last year when the huts are released for booking.

Over 70% of our annual bookings are repeat business with many customers having used our huts for over 30 years so we were concerned we might alienate a few. However, we have received many emails and telephone calls praising the simplicity of the system and its ease of use. They are still able to choose their hut by name or number so we seem to be keeping them all happy.

I cannot praise too highly the In-Site staff who have helped and held my hand throughout this entire process - and I speak as someone who has operated other niche software with limited support and great difficulty.

To conclude with only 70 huts and a very limited season I had thought we might be taking a hammer to crack a nut but the removal of time consuming, tedious work and the increased custom from the 24 hour booking accessibility makes it all worthwhile.

Fron Farm Caravan and Camping Park

Fron Farm Caravan Park is a hands on family business. In-Site software has made our lives so much easier.

I allocate plot numbers on our system at time of booking and I print out arrival sheets for each day. No more messy diaries, lost bits of paper or allocating on arrival!

We had a lot of phone calls to deal with before online booking was introduced but now I simply log on every day and process the bookings in my own time. It has worked really well for us. I would say that 90% of our customers book online now.

Having used In-Site since the year 2000 and seen its improvements through upgrades over the years I can honestly say what an excellent package it is.

The main contention with any software system is its easiness to use and understand.  The good thing about In-Site is that the regular upgrades & improvements have not made the system complicated like some software and it has maintained its original conception of a simple but brilliant package.

In-Site has it both (our eldest daughter of 16 has used it since 14 to do bookings etc).  The final question you have to ask is "how good is the backup support" and I can tell you from years of experience that it is absolutely first class and the staff are a credit to In-Site.

Online bookings were an absolute must for going forward with our camping and caravan site. The influx of phone-calls, although positive is extremely time consuming and also intrusive at times.

The online system allows people to make their bookings 24 / 7 – taking the pressure away for manning the phones at unsociable hours.

The online module is extremely user friendly. You can keep control of how many pitches you want to release online. The whole process is easy peesy.

In-Site have a fantastic team. However it is very rare that I need to contact them regarding online queries. Online bookings have changed our booking system for the better.

From a "shop floor" perspective, In-Site has allowed our team to work more effectively and improve service levels whilst on a Management level it has made working "on" the business as opposed to "in" the business more achievable and the benefits are self evident.
